P33 - Cochise County Airport
FFI is based in Southeastern Arizona which boasts 350 days a year of flying weather. Our training location rests at 4,180' above sea level. We enjoy plenty of sunshine but without the extreme heat of our lower metropolitan neighbors of Tucson and Phoenix.
In addition to the excellent weather, the low traffic airport and nearby practice area makes our location ideal for our clients pursing their FAA pilot certificates. Money is not wasted paying for flight time while waiting for a takeoff clearance or during long travel times to practice area. For added training value, high density Class B airspace, vast mountain ranges, military approach radar, and high/hot airports are all nearby.
Our adventure flight training clients will appreciate our exclusive access to numerous private unimproved surfaces, training routes and facilities.
FFI is not your typical flight school. We specialize in advanced flight instruction and specialty training that you won’t find at your normal flight school or military training program. We value quality over quantity and take pride in sculpting a training program to fit your needs.
In 2020, we set out on a mission to create safer pilots by providing the highest quality training and aviation services in the most enjoyable customer experience.
Fundamentals is in our name because we believe expertise is achieved through mastery of the fundamentals. Whether it is shooting, driving or flying - perfecting the fundamentals allows you to receive advanced training and become a master operator.
